Default Electric fuel pump

Hey guys so I'm thinking of using a toggle switch for my fuel pump power and was wondering how that would work and how to do the wiring and everything any help is appreciated thanks guys

I'd just follow the advice you were given in your other thread. Some guys on here REALLY know these cars in and out, and your getting advice from one of the best. Follow the advice step by step and you'll be much happier in the end. Might mean some work on your end, but just stick with it.

Do not hardwire a toggle switch to your fuel pump.

This is actually for a project derby car lol not my muttang if I can't figure out my mustang I'll probly end up taking it to somebody

you wire a toggle switch to a relay to be specific pin 85/86, one to switched 12v for example 85 to switched 12v, 86 run to one pin on toggle switch and other pin on toggle goes to ground and pin 87 run it to b+ of fuel pump and pin 30 to the battery and you can put a inline fuse on the fp b+ side if desired

derby car. afraid of a little fire, if not just run the wire to battery terminal and squish it between the terminal and cable and save yourself 2 dollar switch. car will shut itself off when she overheats and locks up.
