Default Codes 41/91 help.

This all started on Wednesday. I clean my car cold air filter and reinstalled it. Car ran fine before I did it. After I installed and hooked the MAF sensor, car would not start. on the third attempt on starting my car it finally fired up but ran horrible. All the hose clamps are tight. So I decided to scan it with a innova 3145 OBD1 scanner. Shows codes 41/91. Replaced my 02 sensor and checked my fuel injectors. And the grounds. All my vacuum lines are good also. I'm at a lost here and starting to become frustrated. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

When you say you " cleaned your cold air filter"...

What exactly did you do?

I used the k&n recharge kit. And I only unplugged the MAF sensor and cleaned my positive battery terminal. After that it ran like crap. and the MAF sensor is brand new motorcraft

Take the filter off and clean the oil off it again.

Then go get some CRC MAF cleaner, and clean your maf.

A very common mistake is to over-oil the filter, which can then contaminate the maf.

Don't oil the filter again.

Let us know the results.

Thank you for the help man. I really appreciate it, it did the trick! I had previously looked at the MAF sensor and it looked clean and not damage but I guess it was. Thanks once again. This is my first fox so I don't know a whole lot about them.
