Default homemade subframe connectors

has anyone ever made their own subframe connectors and if so how hard is it.

i did, was simple.. got some 1.5" square tube, capped the ends on angles and welded them in.

subframes are nothing more then a straight piece of square tubing so its pretty easy. if you doa seat support is a little more difficult

actually a subframe isnt a straight piece of metal. at one point in time it was but i know for mine they were contored to the underneath of the car
