im getting ready to install GT40P heads on my fox with 1.7 rockers. my question is will there be a great improvement once it is done? will it be noticeable?

There will be a slight but noticeable gain. Your adding about 20 hp or so maybe.

Are the heads stock or have they been ported? Also what about intake and throttle body and exhaust as well ?
I'm asked because you will already have to remove these items to get heads off. Take it from someone who has done this before you don't want to do this often.
I put on the GT40's with 1.7 and then a couple years later took heads off had the exhaust ports gasket matched with new valve springs and cam.
You may feel a little difference but if your other components are changed you will feel more.

I ported the heads and gasket matched them. I am putting Trick Flow valve spring upgrade kit on them. I have a cobra intake with a bbk70 mm throttle body, 24lb injectors, bbk shorty headers, bbk h pipe, A9L computer with the 4 bank eliminator chip, converted to MAF, 3.73's in the rear
