Best Spark Plugs?

RE: Best Spark Plugs?
I was told if you run nitrous, platinum plugs will melt,
so I run ngk with a 0.052 gap.
but when I first got the car it had the bosch platinum +4 plugs.
I felt a power decrease from switching to the ngk plugs.
so if you stay N/A the bosch platinum +4 plugs will make the most power.

RE: Best Spark Plugs?
I def dont think platinum plugs will "melt" with nitrous... nitrous tends to have a cooling effect. Anyway, bosch plugs are great because they last forever... thats rteally important in some daily driver cars "sebring LXI 2 door (aka mitsubishi eclipse) where a tuneup involves taking the intake runners off [:@] what a pain in the ***.
I have noticed quite a few things about spark plugs in the kart motor, which happens to be single cylinder... so you REALLY notice a difference in sparkplugs. Autolites are good plugs, I mean they fire really well, but they tend to deteriorate a bit quicker than some other brands. Denso makes the broadest range of heat ranges, but what pisses me off is the contact tip oin top (where the boot does on) is screwed on, not pressed on, so with extreme vibration (like you get from a 21 hp 2cycle kart motor[sm=insomnia.gif]) they can come unscrewed, and it has screwed me (haha i made a funny) many times. NGK makes a decent plug too, but only the platinum ones, the regular ones blow. The iridiums gives a reallynice burn, but they still deteriorate at the same rate as other plugs, so it just means it is more expensive to run them.... They are like $7 a piece if im not mistaken. Ac Delco/ Champion plugs both pretty much suck... more suited for a lawnmower than a highperformance motor.
