Whinning when turning the wheel
I get in my car this morning and start drving to school then when i turn my wheel i get this whinning noise. I've heard from my car before but when i replaced my rack and pinion it stopped. Could it just be my power steering that needs fluid or is it the pump that needs to be replaced? Thanks

RE: Whinning when turning the wheel
ya, your fluid is low, of there is air in the system somewhere.
take off the cap, and turn the wheel with the engine running, if you see air bubbles in the fluid then there is air in there.
also ford is notorious for having that power steering whine.
every ford I have owned made that noise.

my '95 corolla makes some kind of noise when its cold and i turn the wheel. it sounds like the belt is slipping so i was planning on replacing it. what do you think?
and quik what does that run on, hopes and dreams?
