What is this thing on my camshaft sprocket?

I couldn't google it because I don't know what it is. Looked to be where the fuel pump drive ring would be. Says A4A on it. I do not know what this engine came out of originally. Engine block is 91 Thunderbird but all other components have been 87 Mustang. Undoubtedly an EFI car though.

Nevermind I stumbled upon this timing kit that includes it as an oil slinger(https://lmr.com/item/LRS-6287BK/1986...re-Kit-for-Efi). Does anyone know what it is slinging oil onto? Or what else it is for?

Sorry sideways photos bug me but it's automatically putting them sideways for some reason.

Just there to fling the oil around inside the timing cover. Simple, but effective.
