Poney, try to be very specific in your explanation. We can't help you just knowing that your cars not running right.

Is it getting fuel, spark ?
Does it spit and sputter and try to run ?
Or does it just crank with no signs of life ?

Try to be as detailed as possible, that way we can help you with better advice.

Okay I have the engine running. It seems to have a miss fire at idle it shakes. I'm getting spark on all cylinders, the wires are all run correctly, firing order is wright. I have also noticed to be using a huge amount of fuel. The car is still using the speed density system. I'm not sure that this system can support the bigger pistons. It also has a stock upper end. Thanks for your time.

Your pistons are just fine. Search for a vacuum leak, that'll really mess with these cars.

After further examination I flowed each vacuum line under the hood, fender, and dash to find no leaks. But thanks for the suggestion.

What kind of distributor you're running and plus have you replace cap and rotor. It might be EF I module.

It's got the stock distributor, msd cap and rotor, 8 mm accel wires with autolite double platinum plugs. Is there efi module in the distributor?

If your sure the wires are run correctly and your using the correct firing order, then make sure the distributor isn't off 180'.

As for the TFI module, there are usually much different symptoms when those go bad. You can pull it off and have any bigger parts store test it for piece of mind.

Could you be alittle more specific on how it's running ? Is the car drivable ?, does it idle on its own ? Is the misfire coming from a specific cylinder ? Or is it sporadic ?

Double check top dead center of piston 1 and see where the distributor sits, you might be 180 out or you're off couple tooth off.check that first before we move to the next step.
