Have you cleaned the MAF ? It doesn't take much contamination on the sensor wires to screw with the readings.
Just to clarify, your still not able to read codes ?
Also, it's still a good idea to know fuel pressure for peace of mind. An inline gauge or even a cheaper pressure tester is all you need. Minimal investment for maximum return when wrenching on your own cars. And who doesn't like more tools ........
