Default NEED HELP ON CAM SELECTI&

I have a 1990 5.0 and i just got a ford motor sport B303 cam for christmas. The current mods i have are just the basic bolt-ons. I also have an automatic trans, is this a good all around cam for me or should i return it for something else. Please help

that would be great....... also if you dont already have 'em, get headers and 3.73's....you may look into a new converter with a slightly higher stall...it would be better to have a 5-speed with that cam since most of the power is above 4,000 rpm<edited><editID>Black Horse</editID><editDate>37981.7043865741</editDate></edited>

ya my current mods are, full exhaust with no cats, pullies,throttle body, mass air, cold air induction kit, chip, 3:73 gears, oh and i just got MSD too, and a couple of more things. what stall converter should i look at? Thanks for you help

Ive got a B303 and like it. I think I can get more power out of a different cam with my mods, but its great anyways...

If you are really interested in getting the best cam for your head goto a machine shop that does flowbench work. The machinest will tell you the hieght that your particular head will flow the best at. He will tell you what cam will run your engine the most efficently(wow, imagine that, more power and better fuel economy). Look in the phone book for a machinest and ask them if they do flowbench work.

brand name cams are not so great you need to know all your specs.on your eng to get a custom grind cam to your needs i have 2 cam motion cams after that ill never try i name brand again.
