ya my cats have been makingnoises (rattling, etc) so i was thinking about buying an 0ff road x pipe and getting rid of the cats all together. my only question is. without the cats will my engine light come on or will the 02 sensor mess up the cmputer or anything b/c of the readings without cats?

Didnt do anything to mine - thats three. Do it. I have a 94 GT so its pretty much the same car, and I would go with the o/r H if I were you. It sounds alot better on the 5.0. Think its cheaper too.

only 96+ cars will the CEL come one, as for cheap UPR makes the cheapest X out there cheaper than any offroad H, great quality too i have one on my car

i too have a 95 gt and my front cat was cracked so i decided to get an off road x pipe and take off all cats. now fast as hell and sounds great...but...since i have done that the idle speed is messed up revs up and down and stalls sometimes especially when cold. even worse it hesitates bad until you gun it all the way the first time in the morning in 1st and 2nd gear. the engine light comes on and off all the time. i dunno if the off road pipe w/no cats caused this or not. i am going to get it looked at in the next couple of days. i will try and get back w/you the results. some ppl told me it was my computer but the professional get a look at it soon.
