Default thinking of buyin 5.0

hey, i was thinking of buying a 5.0 GT or Cobra. i was wondering about how much one would cost in pretty good shape and with low miles? i would also like to mod it with exaust, intake, chip, supercharger, etc. i would also like some info on how much these items would cost and about how much power they would add because i dont know much about mustangs but am trying to get into it.

Thanx

well i have a 89 mustang 5.0 AOD with 56k Miles i paid 2500$ but that was a deal if you want a 92 model plus cobra or gt it will run as good penny anywhere from $5000 to $15000 for a cobra with low miles. i would just get an 89-93 5.0 gt or lx. The whole exhaust from Mac long tube headers-Mac off road H-pipe-and flowmaster catback with 373's would run about a cold $1000 with shipping unless you bought used but that not the way to go get new. this would put you in 13's then i would get bigger fuel pump and put a nice 125 shot not that there is an exact shot but that would be a nice little car with out getting even worse gas milage. but i would put some nitto drag radials on back!

cobras get expensive. just go for any 5.0 you can find for cheap. bluestang was right with most of the stuff, except i say stay with MAC for the cat-back. they sound more agressive and arent as clicky (they dont sound clicky, just everyone has em).www.mustangsunlimited.com sells MAC stuff. for everything else go to www.summitracing.com. 3.73s, some good tires, intake manifold ($400 for 30 hp), tb, CAI. you will be able to kick the sh*t out of them ricers with that!!!
