Default Big horsepower small cubes

I'm about to undergo a fox project for road racing my class has a Max of 302 cubes no power adder's Ford's Nascar engines are 358 ci and 800+ hp I'm not expecting anything that crazy I'm shooting for 450 rwhp is this an attainable goal? My buddies work at a machine shop and I do mechanic stuff for a living not afraid to get my hands dirty or cheat a little bit other than no power adder's it's open *in short what would need to happen to get 450 rwhp outa 302 ci high revs good heads etc ik any off the shelf parts or is this a nightmare?

Thousands of dollars .

Your going to need high compression , high flowing heads, and alot of RPMs. I personally doubt the stock ford 302 block is going to handle the rpms required to get there without a power adder, at least not for long. Start with a good strong block like a dart block, and every component you put in think HIGH RPMs, like in the 7k-8k rpm range. The build will have to be well balanced, with impeccable machine work. . . $$$$$ cash is king here. SO if you have an unlimited budget, where all frugalness is out the door, it is possible to see that, for how long depends on the quality of parts and how well they are balanced and assembled.

Like I said in your other thread, Ford Racing builds a 363 stroker with 500 hp. Go on line and look at their parts list, build your own. It will be expensive and how well it stays together depends on the machine shop and how well they monitor the tolerances.

OOPs, my bad on the 302 max. Don't think it is possible and be reliable.
