Fox Body Air Bag Differences?
So my kid had an accident in his 93 LX and set off the air bag. We've been working on a rebuild and we picked up a 92 convertible air bag. The part numbers are different and I'm trying to understand why. Anyone know the breakdown of these airbags? Our 93 had part # F3ZB-61043B13-ABW and the replacement is part # F1ZB-61043B13-ABW.
The connections are different which is a big problem, but still just trying to understand what the differences are here.

i believe in 93 the complete wiring harness was changed to a new style plug. i got the last airbag i needed off ebay for 5$ for my 91gt. i believe crown vic, f150 airbags etc should be the same id get one with the same style plug you dont want an airbag to blow up in your face...
