Default 1994 Convertible GT cooling issue

Hello everyone, I have a 1994 Convertible GT and I am having an issue with it overheating. I have had the heads re-done, new gaskets, new water pump (x2), new thermostat, new heater core, new hoses, new fans, and new radiator. I have also had the cooling system flushed twice. I am at a loss here, there is no oil in antifreeze or no antifreeze in oil, I am just confused with this. Somebody help!!!!

Thanks in advance

Have you checked to see if the fan is coming on? Maybe a problem with the fan relay in the ccrm ( constant control relay module ) . When it over heats where does the gauge get to? Are your sure it over heats? Maybe it is the sending unit to the dash?

Fan comes on, gauge red lines, and according to my digital temp gun the temp varies. Thermostat housing gets to 210°, heads get to 294°, and water pump gets to just over 166°. If I let it idle all day it stays normal, but as soon as I drive it the temp sky rockets. I am just baffled at this car

210 is in the normal range, the heads should not be 294 though. Im wondering if either the thermostat is in backwards or you have a blockage in the cooling ports to the the heads? Somthing has to be keeping the coolant from flowing through the heads correctly

Well the heads were re-done by Triple R Performance (well known race shop) they have been flow checked and were checked for cracks. I know the 210° at thermostat housing is normal, I was giving all operating temps I had for comparison. The block was flushed before taking the heads off and then again after heads were re-installed to ensure nothing was floating around. The thermostat has been replaced at least twice in the process and it went in the same way it came out. I do greatly appreciate your input on the subject.

And I was questioning the sending unit but haven't changed it as of yet. Maybe I should do that first

I had an overheating problem recently, turns out there was air trapped in the cooling system. I opened the radiator cap and let it the car warm up until the antifreeze level rose up. Problem solved. Hopefully it's this easy for you as well.

Thanks! I have however thought about that as well. I will try to purge system again before I scrap engine and build a new one

Quick possibilities.
1. Head gaskets in backwards.
2. Must have counter rotation water pump and fan.
3. Thermostat, spring end, must be facing the engine block.

The head gaskets is one area I didn't think about. Thank you
