today i was cleaning the inside of my car and i got to the shifter wich is a automatic well the plastic sheild around it that goes in the track cracked i put it back in park then back to D and it shatterd so i took it out and now the ornge that highlights the gear you are in isnt there and it looks kinda ugly what do i do buy a new shifter or do the sell that replacement part is it a pain in the *** or what <IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0">

and are the hammer shifters good the lok good lol but will i have ot cut up my console or wil it fit right in the bezel there now?</P>

i dont like automatics and dont have knowledge of them so cant help ya. ford should sell the repro though.

ebay has lots of parts cause when people get tired of dealing with their POS 2.3's they part em out

man get on ebay or call ford dealers ship or go to junk yard that should not be to hard to find
