Air bag code 52

Air bag code 52
I read that this code on my 1993 LX 5.0 convertible means that the fuse in the air bag module has blown and before replacing the module, find and repair the short. The article also said that this is usually a worn wire going through the firewall. So my question is, has anybody actually found this short and if so, where exactly is it? The blinking light doesn't bother me because it is so low on the dash, that I cannot see it unless I look for it. But with the main computer being "occupied" with this code, I cannot get the stupid *** alarm into valet mode. Darn thing arms itself automatically after a few minutes, And it helps drain the battery in the off season.

Have the same situation. For the past 15 years I've pulled the battery from my 1995 GT for the winter. This Spring after installing the battery, the air bag "5-2" code started blinking for the first time in the past 15 years. Have looked several times for the connector behind the glove box, that is supposed to reset the memory, and shut off the air bag light....not there. Any other suggestions....? Thanx.

Its probably back there somewhere. If you're not the original owner, the po could have pulled it loose from the push in clip that holds it to the dash. Its shown in diagrams below.
