Mystery in my glove box
I’m in the process of getting my faithful ‘95 GT ready to sell. I bought it new in late 1994. There’s a piece of paper in my glove box that has always been in there and always has messed with my head.
It’s clearly an inspection sheet from the assembly line, as it shows PASSED as the result of a few minor tests. But the car is designated a “Ford Saline Mustang SN-95 IP.” There are no typos here. For one thing, my car was never mistaken for a Saleen. Plus, it’s spelled wrong on the sheet. What is this? Any build historians out there?
