I'm doing a cobra brake conversion with the pads, 13" rotors, and cobra calipers and I bought Russell Stainless Steel brake hoses to accompany them. I go to hook them up to the hard lines and the Stainless Steel brake hose female end is too big for the bolt on the hard line and I need a brake line fitting adapter. Does anyone know what size the threading of the 95 GT and 96-01 Cobra brake hose bolts are?

I don't know what size the threads are, but is there any chance that you have the wrong part? A quick cross reference shows Cobra hoses for '94-'98, which makes me wonder if '99+ hoses have a different thread, and maybe that's what you ended up with.

Oh goodness. So, I didn't realize that the driver's side and passenger side brake lines were different sizes. I was only working on the passenger side and didn't pull off the old hose from the driver's side yet when I posted the thread... needless to say i quickly switched the hoses and they fit right on. That means that the 99+ hoses should be the same threading (minus the ones going on a mustang with IRS from what I've heard) because the calipers/rotors/pads are for a 2001 Bullitt and are the same as the 99-01 Cobra.
