Hey, I was wondering if anyone could give me a ball park range on how much it would cost to repaint my 93 Mustang GT. It is 2-toned electric red and metallic gray on the bottom. Thanx.

That really depends on how much body work needs to be done and if you want show quality or just a decent paint job. A show quality paint job would be any where from (depending on where you live) $4000 and up, most likely up. A decent paint job might cost you a min. of $1000 up to $2500 depending on how much body work and how straight you want the car. You could go to MAACO and get the $169 special or go all out and get the $399 super duper special paint job.

If there is minimal bodywork I would say around 2500. To make the car perfect and paint, around 5.

Do all the prep work yourself, and tape up what you dont want paint on. After that buy your own paint, and take it down to Maaco to let them shoot it for ya...It should turn out pretty good, but make sure you do ALL the prepwork because some of those places are known to just wash the car and shoot the paint, not even bother to sand or tape up anything

I just dropped mine off at earl scheib and got it done for 670 with door jambs and racing stripes. I did all the prep work myself.
