Throttle Body Assembly Bolts/Nuts

Got the SVE 70 mm TB. Got the ERG Delete spacer. Want to make sure I got the right bolts/nuts to put them on the 97.5 Explorer intake (non egr). LMR said buy them locally and save money - makes sense. That turned out to be an exercise in futility. 3 auto stores looked at their computer and nothing cam up. So I'm looking for help to buy 4 bolts. One store guy said give him the size & thread - I ain't got that info.

Take one bolt to Home Dept or Lowes, and get matching ones in
stainless. As long as everything bolts on and tightens up, they'll
be fine. Or, are you saying, you don't have any bolts at all?

I'll look again. I like your idea. Let you know tomorrow what I found. Thanks.

That is what I do when I need new bolts, and I don't know what they are.
I take one with me, find a nut that fits it, then I got the diameter and
thread pitch, now I can get a stainless bolt or longer one if they have
it. It has been getting scarce... I remember when they had just about
everything, and now, it's so limited. There were bolts I needed a few weeks
ago, M6, countersink stainless, shorter, and they were out... So, I had to
use the bolts my kit came with, which ere just a little long for the
application. I replaced my cowl push fasteners with these:

So, yeah, the bolts are like 1" long, which is WAY long for a total of
1/8th" of thickness between the top and the nut on the bottom. If
I had a tap and die, I would have cut them and tapped them so the
threads would be fine on the end where I cut it. I did just about every
10mm bolt in the engine compartment with those. I found one yesterday
that I missed.

Thanks for info. Interesting approach and little standardization doesn't hurt at all.

As suggested I went to Lowe's and got the bolts I needed

. Would have never thought of doing that. My thanks to "08 Mustang Dude" for the guidance. All I need now is some weather with less heat and humidity and I might be able to finish the engine work up. Will advise status.
