Default Best oil

We have had this discussion atleast 10 times in the last 6 months, Even a couple polls I think. The best bet is to use a your brand of choice. I go synthetic, Mobil 1, but some say sythetic ruins your seals.

The myths about synthetics (never able to go back, break your seals, ect..) are complete bogus. It's just a completely pure form of the dion oil

Mobil 1 synthetic is the best for the buck, for stock or modded.

The first number is viscosity when cold, the second when warm.

You want a low first number so that it can get everywhere it's needed quickly on start up (apparently they have 0W30 now!!!!), and a decent second number (too think and you'll overload the oil pump) to resist having the protective film of oil from giving way, leading to grinding of metal-metal.....not good.
