Question Timing / MSD / Mechanical

I am new to the forums, and I'm not really sure what I'm doing when it comes to posting. If someone could help me find the right place to post this I would be grateful.

My current dilemma is that I am tired of TFI computer controlled timing acting up in my 94 GT. I was thinking about ways to delete some of it. I currently have a MSD Digital 6AL. I am wondering if this would work:
Install a MSD magnetic pickup dizzy with MECHANICAL advance. Pull out the spout connector. Program fuel curve. Adjust springs/weights in mechanical dizzy.

You will have to go with a carb if you go that route.

You are better off to buy a moates quarterhorse and tune the problems out. You can cut off the other timing maps, and just use one that does what you want.
