Moates tuner in new England

Anyone know of somebody in the northeast who would be willing to tune my vehicle with the moates system? All the shops here either dont want to get involved or want to charge Huge money for a standalone system. Any help would be awesome or I may have to look into selling the car which really is my last option.

it is stupid that they don't want to get involved. quarterhorse is a chip, just like a chip they install. They both do the same thing. The software eye candy may look different, but it is doing the same thing as in changing scalers, functions, and tables in the factory computer with really nothing more than an excel spreadsheet.

what makes the quarterhorse different from a tuner's chip like a SCT is the following:
  1. the moates can make changes on the fly while the car is running. the sct chip has to be unplugged from the factory computer and plugged into their burner every time a change is made
  2. the moates gives you the ability to make changes to the computer and/or take it to a competent tuner, where-as their chip locks you in to the person that tuned the chip

64bit is a guy on here sometimes that probably really could help you. He did mail order tunes for people with the moates chips that needed to be burned. I think they way he did it was, he would get a deposit from you on his quarterhorse, mail you his quarterhorse, tune your car with your help, then burn you a chip to install. When you sent his quarterhorse back, he would give your deposit back.

Anyways, he had a naturally aspirated 347 94 cobra with a manual trans.
