Default CAI or MAF Kit?

which is better? it seems like the maf kit does. i would probably put a mass air meter on the cai too. so which one is better or are they pretty much the same?

THEY ARE TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT THING. THE CAI IS A SET OF TUBES THAT GO FROM FENDER TO MAF AND FROM MAF TO TO TB. IT DOESNT INCLUDE A NEW MAF.

Ya, your gonna have to do some research on these CAI , there one of the most basic , small meaningless mods you can make. Im not trying to be an ***( as much as i may sound) but theres way to many CAI posts, all you have to do is research , and if that fails, do a search at the bottom of the 5.0 page.
Again , no hard feelings

first off when you say maf kit that makes me think that you are looking at something for a SD car, you need just a maf not a kit.

The stock air box is basically an ugly CAI... it draws air from the fender just like a CAI. i would go with a C&l meter and tube with a K&N drop in filter.

you'll most likely get more of a difference from the c&l and inlet tube... but get the k&n filter for your box!!!
