i raced an 04 range rover and i pulled aaway kinda slow.. we raced from like 55-110.. he was trying to pass me in a 2 way highway so i floored it =) and i have a gt very and it was stock at the time besides 40 series flows, cut 2 cats off and a shift kit. and i had my brother and dad in the car .. they add up to about 350lbs or so.. i think if they werent in the car iw oulda killed the range rover haha

Ok i raced him last night... went for a cruise with all my buddies... 91 Z28 350, the 04 SS, 94 347 stroker GT, 04 SRT-4 and a 05 SRT-4 with stage 2.... we now this street thats a backstreet to a industrial center.. during the day its used for semis to park before they are called in to load. so its almost the size of a 3 lane highway. so first up me and my budies stoke srt-4 did a nice little burn out to warm up tires and then i was askin for all takers...
STOCK SRT-4- now it wasnt as close as yah all said it would be... off the line he had nasty wheel hop the 2 times we raced and by the time he would start to walk i was still 2 car lenghts ahead and pinnin out 3rd gear
SRT-4 STG 2- well this cough cough... wasnt the answer i wanted... he had the same thing... nasty wheel hop but going into third he leveled out with me and then when i hit about 5K he just left town... and pulled like he was squezzing... and going into 4th he was about 1 car infront of me....
04 SS i have no idea y i was so scared... we launched off the line and he did stick with me till 2nd (damn wheel spin) and then i left him to himself.... end of race was about 2-3 cars
91 Z28 350 ok, he did scare me, hes a really good freind of mine and get this clean camaro for 6500 and it has get this 50,000 original miles WOW- and she scoots but is all stock... so we lined up i must say we had to do a 2nd race cause i lost to him (missed 3rd) hes a auto so he just torque breaks till 1500 and then when we go shifts with the autoshifter.... he is only fast from a stop when he can power break and shift with the gear selector... from a 20mph roll i killed him!!! but i was able to win by about half a car length (my rear tires to his front tires) at the end of a dead stop race... and i dont even have a k/n stock replacement air filter... so lol.... lets just wait till christmas for the mods.... hehehe... there all waiting in the garage to be put on but i have no time!!! grrr... anyways thanks guys for the help
