In the 87 -93 models I belive the Gt has 235 and the LX has 215, due to better heads, intake, larger injectors...etc. The GT however is heavier due to ground effects so I believ it is actually .2 slower in the quarter than the LX

lx comes with 2 body styles, notchback and hatchback. gt only comes hatchback. gt only comes with the 5.0, lx comes with 5.0 or the 4 banger (2.3). gt has ground effects and a little more power, but also weights a little more. i like the look of the gts a lot better. <IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0">

i think ur thinking of the cobra because the gt and the lx heads, intake, and injectors are the same. Its the cobra that has these things improved.

yeah im pretty sure that the lx (5.0 version) and the gt use the same exact motor, which has 225 hp and 300 ft/lbs torque.

They use the same engine yes... they wouldn't make a difference engine just for the lx model lol

Yes I agree with the last three or so post, the LX and GT bot have the same 225HP and 300ft/lb engine, Now the Cobra steps it up ten HP in 93.

Just the body kits are different. And the LX comes in a notch back verison.
