Default 5.0 v.s. 4.6

PLain and simple. would you take a 5.0 or 4.6? Why? do 4.6's really have a upperhand on 5.0?

stock the 4.6 has more hp than the 5.0 but 5.0 are cheaper and easier to mod

Well the 4.6 has more hp but there's so much difference you can't say which is better by only looking at stock numbers. Consider that every engine can produce huge HPs if you give it what it needs to achieve it. Personally I prefer the sound of the 5.0 over the 4.6 Except the 32v 4.6 (Cobra Engine). This one engine is hell of a killer and the sound... omg. Also, the 5.0 is an oldy pushrod engine and it develops way more torque than 4.6s, if I'm right And like he said, the 5.0 is way less expensive to build up and the parts are so damn common ^^ Good luck with your project

Side note, the stock heads are a big restriction in the 5.0, just like the intake

5.0... no question. Much cheaper/eaiser to mod, and I like the more old-school muscle car approach. I'm not a big fan of alot of computers and things like that that are on the 4.6. Plus, I have a 94 5.0.

5.0 Because I drive one. Cheaper, way better sounding, 5ohhh sounds cooler, Although like someone said the 4.6 can handle more power, still have to say the 5.0 is my pick over the 4.6 because it has more points

Haha, the 5.0 seems to be overly popular in this 5.0 section . I wonder what the results would be if you posted this poll in the 4.6 section haha!
