no friends or family with a truck/trailer??? i went from illinois to new jersey with a truck and full trailer to get my 88. $350 round trip in gas, whereas uhaul would have cost like... $800 or something to take a 2 wheel dolly round trip, or one way. F*** u-haul lol

I suggest you really look around for a friend who can do it for you. Or make a new friend who will do it for you

if the car runs, you can get a 15 day temp tag from the DMV and fly out there and drive it home. also i think they have something called a movers tag.
