Its going to be better than a "real" LX. Why are LX's so much lighter than the GT's if the only difference is in the body. Theres not that much of a difference besides the 5lb. side skirts and the front and rear bumper drop down an extra 2 or 3 inches. What makes them lighter?

no difference in doors

the wieght is in the bracing and bracketree for the GT ground effects. they have a steel support up front and also in the rear to hold the bumpers solid. then all the clips and screws and etc that hold them on. also the seats are different which add a few more lbs over a stock lx

So should I get new doors? I need new doors anyway so should I look for them off of a LX or a 4cyl?

the doors are the same!!!!!!!!! the supports you will have to take off. they extend off the reinforcement
