alrite my 5.0 is a stupid automatic and i want a 5 speed. does anyone kno how exsensive it is to do a swap. i am thinkin the T5. but i dont kno quite yet. thx

you are going to need the tranny, the crossmember, shifter, bellhousing, flywheel and bolts, clutch and pressure plate, throw out bearing, piolet bearing, clutch forke, clutch cable, clutch pedal and thats all i can think of right now, if you start buying new stuff then it might get expensive.

the hardest part is finding the conversion parts the hardest part of the actual swap is putting the clutch pedals in i started on mine i am in the middle of the swap i have the pedal assembly if anybody is doing this swap make offer

i did mine. i got mine off ebay with a rebuilt tranny for 600 but i had to get a clutch flywheel and some bolts but not too bad. the pedals are a pita you will struggle with them. youll want to d a gear change mine has 2.73s and it dosnt like it too much.

the pedals are not as bad as everyone says, i thought it would be a major pain but it was not to bad.
