Default trick flow cam

any body know if you can run the trick flow stage 1 cam with 1.72 rockers on a stock 302 with forged fly cut factory pistons

yes you can....you got nothing to worry about....but just to be one hundred percent sure do like they always say and check it for clearance....i you can run it and everything will be just fine....i have seen bigger cams ran on stock heads with the same rockers...

i would check clearance. one stock heads dont like that much lift. with 1.72s and TFS1 you will see about .535/.546 for lift thats a crazy amount for stock ore near stock. PTV will be very close, probably bend a valve and of course stock heads dont flow with that high of a lift

o well this isnt going into my car, my buddy is putting it into his 86, he has trick flow heads and a novi 2000 on his car so i think he has 2.02 valves im not sure, that would prob mean he cant use that much lift huh

yea thats too much lift for a blower in some ways
it depends really tho.

a tfs2 cam is good blower cam when in a 347

got a buddy with the TFS2,347 and a Novi making about 700 hp

so vfast do you think he should use the trick flow cam, or do you think he should get the cam that you have and about how much was your cam

it depends on the setup. not every combo is the same. some like this and some like that.
