RE: Lower Intake
You're asking where am I putting RTV, ok well I did around each coolant port, and on the ends of the lifer valley(cant think of the name of it) but there should be rubber or cork gaskets that came with your lower manifold gaskets.
On each end of those smaller gaskets, put a generous amount of RTV(where the gasket's meet the heads).
Or you could just skip those gaskets entirely and just use some RTV.
And you heard a whistling sound?
You sure it wasnt a vacuum leak?

RE: Lower Intake
my car has a whistling noise coming from it, no vacum leaks
it happened since I put my bbk 70mm throttle body on, I thought it was defective, because with the stock TB on, the whistle went away, so I got a replacement from bbk, and it does the same.
only at idle though, I think it is because the gap between the throttle plate and throttle body is small, and trying to flow more air.
