yeah that powder coating sucks!,but it is a rough cast underneath.

The baffle came with the lower intake, you didn't know what it was so you didn't question it and tossed it aside?

i know i know this is a first for me and it wont even happen again i do have one question tell me exactly how you installed your lower intake where you put gasket maker and how much bc i have been having a leak bc it makes a whisaling sound so this time i dont want that i have everything cleaned and its ready to go in

You're asking where am I putting RTV, ok well I did around each coolant port, and on the ends of the lifer valley(cant think of the name of it) but there should be rubber or cork gaskets that came with your lower manifold gaskets.
On each end of those smaller gaskets, put a generous amount of RTV(where the gasket's meet the heads).
Or you could just skip those gaskets entirely and just use some RTV.

And you heard a whistling sound?
You sure it wasnt a vacuum leak?

my car has a whistling noise coming from it, no vacum leaks
it happened since I put my bbk 70mm throttle body on, I thought it was defective, because with the stock TB on, the whistle went away, so I got a replacement from bbk, and it does the same.

only at idle though, I think it is because the gap between the throttle plate and throttle body is small, and trying to flow more air.

i think i have the same problem i think its bc it does have a hole the butterfly valve like the stock one does and i know for a fact i dont have a vaccum leak i have replace everything and its still there but the car runs great
