thats the way to go. if the others werent hyper, then i think they were of lesser quality. it still doesnt matter though. the hypers work for a good bit, but not well for nos, blown, turboed. they will work unless he wants a massive buildup.

I believe pre-1993 were forged.....

I've read several places that is was much more desirable to modify pre-93 engines. So that means if you are planning to heavily mod the engine you should start from scratch at the bottom end. If you're just doing a bunch of bolt ons (No blower or NOS) your most likely ok and don't even need to worry about this....

Ok so they are asking way too much for this car. I dunno what to right now. We went and test drove her today and she is drives like nothing that have ever drove before. 1991.....(Daniel) I hear your car is sweet ***. I would much rather find me something like that other then this 93. Can you help me out there on the 91 rather then 93!

I'm the budy...this is the one. Got a great deal..$6500 is too much if it needs paint unless it's mad built like AJ's Canary over there. Good luck! Remember...Cash Talks.

hyperuetectic pistons will handle up to a 150 shot of nitrous if tuned well, I am running a 75 shot and no problems so far, but then again I only have 1300kms on the new motor.

after the winter I will be running a procharger with 8lbs of boost.
hyper pistons are more sensitive to detonation,
as long as you arent detonating you will be fine.
but with forged pistons you can detonate all day and still be good, mabye only melt a little of the piston, but it wont break.

hyper pistons will break when you run lean.

Default no horsepower drop

uhhhh people..... horse power didnt go down in a sense... ford wanted the numbers to reflect on road power more "aka, the 94-95 5.0 uses a much more restrictive intake and droped horses...) you can dyno a stock 93 fox next to a stock 94 mustang and have the fox throw down more horses ... 197.5RWHP fox and 192 94... i got this information from a dyno shop near my home called Fast Freddies..

I think ford only rated the hp lower for emissions and insurance purposes.
the hp was closer to 235hp. not the 205 they stated.
