louvers went out with T tops in the 80s along with Mullets

speaking hte way you do i dont even know where to begin. i havent heard words like that since the early 90s.

Hey! That reminds me I had an 81 or 82 LX coupe with a 281(?) and T-TOPS back around 1990. Talk about an oddball. Man I almost forgot about that car. It was wicked sick driving around with those t-tops off! Wish I had some pics of that one....

I like the overall look of the notch with the sloping rear end as opposed to the notches. It depends on what your going for like someone said. Notches are lighter yet don't have quite the same lookof the hatch imo. I am a little bias though.[8D]

the notch is cooler and faster !! check the link in my sig [8D] i had 2 GTs' before but always wanted a notch, lighter, better looking and worth more

EDIT: also noticed you were hesitating between a 92 and 93 ...in 93 they switched from forged pistons to hypereutectic (sp?) ...anyways hyper ones are weaker than the forged ones. best foxes are 90-92.

that wouldnt be a 281 back then. it probabably was a 4.2 which is around 261
