Well I would like to know the difference between a Notch and a Hatch.

can someone help me out?

notchs generally are worth a lil more since there is such a demand for them cause they are lighter then hatchback.

notches are about 100 lbs or so lighter than a lx hatch 200 lighter than a GT and almost 400 lighter than a 'vert

i am on my 3rd notch and have had a hatch and a 'vert too.....nothing like a coupe

they handle better too, and i think they are cleaner looking

you will never lose on a notch, the price is rising faster on them than any other foxbody, they are the 60's fastbacks in collectability

it all depends on what you want it for and which you think looks better. i like the GT hatch of course because thats what i have and others who have a notch or hatch LX like those better. i like my hatch for my stereo and it looks better or atleast i think it does.

i had a coupe but i love my gt

if you like drag cars then get a notch

but since i like the looks and like to show my car i look the body kit of the gt

man, get a four eyed bugger! like mine! they are wicked hard to find, worth more, and are lighter than the newer (87-93) gt's. plus, they look crazy sick when one comes up behind you! check out my pics on photobucket in my sig. then theres my moms vert in there too. and if you dont like the carb, then get an 85 or 86 one. i like the hatch cause of the louvers! make a car wicked bada$$!
