Mas Air Meter Question

Here is my set up. 91 gt aod, 3.73 gears, shift kit, mac shorty headers, mac off road h-pipe, mac cat back exhuast, mac under drive pulleys, mac cold air kit, mac 70mm tb and egr spacer, trick flow track heat upper and lower intake manifold. I need to replace the stock mass air meter and i was wondering what size would be best??? And i know its suppose to be a typical 10-15 hp bolt on but will it make a bigger difference since im running my stock mass air with a larger throttle body i was told the mass air was suppose to be larger than the throttle body

C&L has a 80mm set-up for your car. 80mm is plenty big for your car.

Mas Air Meter Question

Can you run an 80 mm mass air with stock injectors. I have looked at em and none have the calibration tube for stock 19lb injectors the biggest i have saw with the tube is 76 mm. well of the ones from c & l anyways

Mas Air Meter Question

i would use a 75 or a 77mm by C&L WHERE AS YOU CAN CHANGE THE TUBES, IF YOU EVER UPGRADE YOUR 19LB INJ. I USE A 75MM BY PRO-M CAL. TO 24LB WITH 70 ACCUFAB T-BODY. BY SOME HEADS AND YOU'D BE ROCK'N!

Mas Air Meter Question

Whoa, you need some injectors quick if you go to an MAF. You have big TB, nice CAI, Trick Flow intake, spacer, and now MAF. Thats basically everything you can do on the intake - aside from forced induction. Go with Pro-M mass air meter, go with 75-80mm, and get some 24# injectors!

I'd be real beneficial. You're probably running lean as it is, and this would push it even further. Granted it's not a must, but something that is well worth consideration to equalize and enrichen the mixture.

C&L knows best. I would go with what ever they say is for your car.

Mas Air Meter Question

C&L is good. new injectors WOULD do the car good. running lean isnt good. it will give you some more power.
