Are you serious??? I should only expect to run a mid 14 with all the money i have put in my car??? I ran a 10.3 totally stock in the 1/8th mile. With all the mods listed except the intake and throttle body i ran a 9.4 in the 1/8th. Thats almost a whole second over stock just in the 1/8th. The car is listed to run a 15.6 1/4 mile stock. What modifications am i gonna have to make to get my car into the high 13 range?

What is the magic number? and i know that cant be right about a 1/4 mile time because i have beaten a 93 formula firebird with an Lt1-350 in 1/4 mile and raced an automaitc 02 SS Camaro night before last in the 1/8th mile and he beat me by only a car length

5 spd would help start on the suspension. make your car as lite as you can. slicks. advance your timing, adjust your tps, 75mm maf, intake spacer. a lot of stuff some that really dont cost anything just set down and make a list of what every thing is set at on your car. and go from there. start asking detailed questions it will help if you know your car inside and out.

well your problems are you used a track heat intake and a 70mm t/b you would have better off with a 65mm and a gt-40 intake...it's called planning for all your parts to work together...did you install a bigger mass(maf)? if you didn't there lies a big problem..install a 76mm also save up for a 2500 stall this will help a ton. your car may due better in the 1/4 and the 1/8 to 1/4 conversation might not apply..you due have some intake flow problem...since you have already bought these install some 1.70 rockers to help

Ok. What is wrong with a 70mm and a trick flow track heat manifold?? Trick flow is suppose to be the most flowing intake available to run on stock cars. And the stupid gt-40 intake costs 200 dollards more. I do plan on getting a 2500 stall and a mass air meter 76mm c&amp;l. Those are my next 2 planned modifications. I really think that a 14.88 on my car is really wrong becasue like i said i beat an LT1 and ran right with an LS1. What can i do to lighten my car and what do u mean work on the suspension? How is working on the suspension gonna make my car run down the drag strip faster?</P>

hey man, you can say its wrong if you want, but that is the best equation you can do. yeah some cars are different, but try it out on on a car that you know both of the times for. i guarantee it will be pretty accurate.
