RE: 351 or 331
I was in the same decision as you a couple weeks ago and I decided to go with the 357 from DSS Racing. And like Silver81GT said, there is no replacement for displacement. The torque on these motors are great and you have alot more to play with (CI/hp/torque). Not saying that the 331 strokers are good because they are sick also but you just will have more of everything with a 351.

434 is as far as a 351w can go but that is a block for like nascar, but your ordnary 351w can get to 427, since we are talking about 351w, in my frpp mag it has dry sump blocks and wet sump blocks what is the diff between them?

RE: 351 or 331
There are a lot more differences between them than the sump. I went with a 347 stroker for my car, and they seem to run a bit better than a stock 351 all day long. The heads taht you use will determine the most differences. If you have modded your 302, stay with 331, or 347. There is a ton of work to make the swap to a 351. Everything is different, and you will have to buy a lot of new parts. I already had Edelbrock heads with a bunch of machine work done to them, and had a Victor intake, NX nitrous plate for in between the upper and lower manifolds. It was much cheaper to keep all of that, and go with a 347 bottom end. I actually have 3 351 long blocks in my garage, as that is what is in my '30 Hot Rod. Decide what your budget is, and see if you can get a short block from Summit, or somebody like that.
