Default RE: Rebuild

Bang for the buck would be to get a complete rebuild kit, and some better pistons. Maybe a little higher compression, and a decent cam. Check out Summit Racing, Jeg's, buy a MM&FF magazine, go through ads and see what they have. Eagle products are pretty good, but a little expensive. Comp cams, Isky cams, Lunati cams, even Ford Racing cams will do the job. I would probably advise you to find a local speed shop that does machine work, and find out what they recommend, as they will be the place doing the .030 over work, and be sure to have whatever you decide to build, balanced. Sounds like you are rather unexperienced at building such projects, and I would tell you to have the shop do a complete assembly that you can drop right in.
