Default Need help ASAP!!!

I have a 88 mustang with a 91 5.0 H.O. motor. The problem is im burning alot of fuel. There is a ton of smoke coming out of the exhaust and I changed the oil and it looked and smelled like there was alot of gas in the oil. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I checked the cylinder compression and they were all good. The Egr is working.
I was told that it is probably a bent valve. Could that be true? Thanks to all help received.
