5.0 taking on a 2005 GT (advice)

I have a friend (cocky bastard[:@]) at work that has a 2005 GT and he has me beat by a good bit right now, but I have quite a few mods planned for install over the next few weeks. I wanted to know what I can expect when I do my install my parts, will this be enough to keep infront of him.

As of right now this is what I have in my 1994 5.0
-GT-40e Manifold
-65mm TB
-70mm MAF
-MAC U-Pullies
-MAC Headers
-Flowmaster exhaust (2 1/2")
-BBK CAI
-3.73 gears

I dynoed at 224.2 HP and 300.5 Torque.@ 4000RPM

I am adding the following over the next two weekends:
-Twisted wedge heads and 1.6 rr
-Double roller timing chain
-e303 cam
-new push rods
-new lifters
-24 lbs inj
-225 lph in tank fuel pump
-Tuning by the Dynoshop in San Diego

As of this moment the '05GT is stock with the exception of the shaker for power. Thank you and let the comments begin.:D

with those mods youll win, for some reason the 05" gts seem slow, I beat a stock one about a month ago..the mods are in my sig...We raced from a roll 3 time I won all 3 times by about a fender or a little more, it was close.

2005 Mustang
Engine Type 4.6L OHV 24V V8
Displacement 4.6L (281 cu. in.)
Horsepower 300 @ 5750
Torque 320 @ 4500
Compression Ratio 9.8:1

your already putting down more torque to the wheels and with your new mods thats just gonna go up. your hp might still be a little less but torque is would wins races on the streets, unless its more than a quarter mile.

My dads 05 gt runs 12's with not a whole lot done to it, just basic bolt ons and a tune. If he's stock you might have a chance.

your just to heavy....you'll need about 300 to the wheel..a nice 100 shot from NX should do the trick
