I want the get rid of it but where would i attach the coolant overflow tank too? Do they make custom tanks that i could mount some where?

Eh... Fan shroud actually really helps in cooling your radiator... i wouldnt suggest removing it

unless you have electric fans you can do it...i think summit makes a chrome one for $25-30 bucks?

anyone running a flex a lite black magic fan? the shroud makes the engine bay look crowded, i hate that.

I baught one, it was noisy as hell, sounded like a diesel truck fan absolutly horrible. Dont get it if you want one Ill give you the one I baught for $25 shipped.
I put it on once and took it off right away.

nah im not a big "fan" of noise so are you back just using a regular belt driven fan setup?

Yea, I baught a new fan from 50resto.com and works great.
I would go electric but I dont like the sound it makes after the car turns off. Maybe its just bad wiring on my friends part but I just didnt like it. Maybe he should of connected a Hot line from the key but I donno.

my SN95 e-fan doesnt make that much nosie and it doesnt come on that often either i have ine set to a temp switch

Im pretty sure that you can get a nice overfill tank that mounts right where your battery is. But you are also going to need to go with a battery relocater kit to do this. I wouldnt take off your shroud either. They dont look that bad. You can go with an electric but as you can already tell from what you heard, they are loud.

i guess its aint that bad. i think im just gonna buy a new shroud and overflow from 50resto. its because those pieces wont come clean is why im really upset with it.
