Ok lately when i press down the clutch my car won't start. i have to pump the clutch and it clicks everytime it gets past a certain point. I try holding it at the point but as it progresses to get worse it doesnt start. It takes me 2 minutes now of pumping for it to finally start. I know I need a new clutch cable but would that have anything to do with it? I lifted the clutch pedal to see if it would align and that didn;t help either. Anyone have this problem before or know what this could be??? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
there is a sensor on the end of the clutch pedal for the neutral saftey switch, it is probably come loose or broke, get a flashlight and look down there, you will see it.
I can see it and it rattles a little bit but when the clutch goes down it still goes in. I'll check maybe I can fasten it down more. Could there be anything else?
