Yeah I got a 94 Gt and I have a lot of fun with it but I learned a lot of the tricks and stuff the hard way like over spinning during the rain when I didn't want to. If you do decide to do something crazy with your car MAKE SURE its with no other cars in sight cause its not that easy to control when your new to it. As for mods just do exhaust and a CAI no point going much farther since the AOD will hinder a lot of performance and since you said you were on a budget. And the 95 was the last year of the 5.0 engine. Good luck with the car.

IMO I wouldn't change the headers until you change or port the heads. New headers with the stock heads are not woth the cost to get 5hp. Get the o/r h-pipe. Next I suggest getting a better intake like a 94-95 Cobra intake or a Edel, but you'll also have to get the elbow with the edel. You already have gears, and the stock TB and MAF are fine for now. Maybe a shift kit for the AODE or some pulleys.

Nice pick up! I just bought a 95 GT vert and I am in the same boat as you. Im trying to learn more and more about our stangs before I go out and buy anything new on it! I plan on doing a routine tune up before I go buying after market items. Good luck with the car!

I have a 95 gt auto and i just put pulleys and CAI on this weekend and it made the car more powerful above 3000 rpm. I would definitely say get the shift kit it makes it soo much more fun to drive. If the car doesnt have lowering springs you may want to do that too, made my car handle a lot better. Hope this helps!
