tranny gearing

i have 373s on my 306 and at 75 mph i m running about 2200rpm. i was wondering if i could change the gearing on my t5 or if the tremmecs come with gearing to compensate for the 373s in 5th gear/overdrive?? I do alot of highway mileage and I am use to my stock LX that runs way lower rpm on the highway.

a "z" t5 has 0.63 instead of 0.67 5th , and also the 2.95 1st

A 3.73 gear should turn alittle higher rpm than that at 75 in 5th..are you sure you have a gear..

my bro just confirmed i had a t5z, maybe thats why its not turning as much Rpm as 3.73s normally do.

Whats the pros and cons or difference between a t5 and a t5z? Is it just the gearing of 1st and 5th.
