Well the only reason that I'd want the shop to do it, first of all, I have no access to a bearing press, second of all, I want it set up perfectly. I just found out that I won another 100 bucks (fruit, sausage and cheese sales for our FFA chapter, I sold the most!), so I'll have that much more to play around with. For this first paycheck and the 100 bucks that I won, I'm going to do some "tuning up". Such as new plug wires, new air filter (I really need a new filter I'm running a paper one for now) (probably a CAI with a K&N conical filter it'll cost me about the same as a k&n panel filter), spark plugs, maybe a new coil, and I should still have some cash left over for gas and what not, and I'll just keep saving up for those gears. Some one please put those in order for me from what I should get first to last. I'm thinkin somethin like this... 1. CAI, 2. spark plugs (some one suggest some good ones, I'm currently running NGK splitfire, at least I think that's what they're called), 3. Plug wires (gonna get some taylors), and 4. coil (MSD TFI). What do ya'll think?

Plugs - Autolite #25
Wires - since you want taylors get the 409 race wires
Coil - MSD Blaster TFI
Cap and Rotor - MSD

I don't need a new cap and rotor, I did that in April. Or does the MSD cap and rotor offer that much more spark than the 7 month old accel cap and rotor (that I'm currently running)? Another thing, I just realized that I'll have enough money to finally get my subframes installed! It's hard to grasp that my car's going to finally start gettin some goodies within these next couple of months.

i got my flowmaster cat-back for under 300 shipped and 50 to have it installed and my gears with install came out to about 500, but the gears was a definite difference where the cat-back i didnt notice much but it sounded better. i would go wit the gears if u want the most power but the cat-back is cheaper and it makes a mustang sound like a mustang.

CAI is waste wont see any gains
plugs wont see any gains
cap and rotor wont see any gains
plug wires wont see a gain right now
coil helps but wont see a gain. just helps smooth things out

get gears and stall, along with exhaust and youll be fine

Like I said Quik, I'm not trying to see any gains off of this stuff. I said it's maintanence, I've still got the stock plug wires and mine have grease and $hit on em, I need a new air filter and I may as well get a CAI off of Ebay with a washable filter it's just as much as a K&N panel filter they just look nicer, I need new spark plugs because it's been a while since I changed em. So the only thing that I don't really need is the coil. So, what's next? Something else that I can spend like 150 bucks on. My next paycheck is going towards gears.
