I would go 255lph. that way it will take as much power as you could make no matter what mods you get down the road.

if your current fuel pump is sufficing and you upgrade to accomodate new mods, you wont neccesarrily see a bump in HP. The point of getting a better fuel pump is that when your engine is sucking up more air than the fuel pump can handle. When there is more air than your fuel pump and fuel system can provide to make sure that the air/fuel ratio isnt equal. You will start to lean out when your fuel system is inadequate, which can cause problems. When your leaning out and then you add a larger pump, then you will notice a HP increase as you richen up your fuel mixture.

The stock pump is garabage either way, its just enough to support a few mods, I would get the 190 the flow nice numbers as well as a Kirban Regulator, I hada bbk for 4 months and it crapped out it was garabage.... pumps are easy to install too just a stinky *** job.

For a $100 bucks you can get a Walbro 255lph from ebay. You'll never have to worry about fuel n/a until you go with forced induction. Fuel pumps are different than a TB in that it only flows what is required by the motor at the given momemt. With fuel pumps bigger is better unlike a TB which may flow more air than your combo needs. The rating number of the pump is its maximum flow rate. Therefore, a given combo may require 145lph. A 155lph, 190lph, and 255lph will all do the job equally with no wasted fuel. But as you continue to mod 155 or 190 might not be able to handle the fuel requirements. Why not change the pump one time and not worry about it unless of course the pump goes bad.

That's true but I'm hoping that ppl tune after they mod and don't just slap a part on and drive and expect everything to be fine.
