THAT'S BECAUSE YOUR DUMBASS WON'T REALIZE THAT THERE IS NO CLASS FOR SUCH A VEHICLE!!!!!! TOP FUEL IS RESTRICTED (that means NOTHING BUT) ROOTS BLOWERS, WHICH ARE THE LEAST EFFECIENT FORM OF F/I IN EXISTANCE!!!! MORE EFFECIENCY = MORE POWER = FASTER..........I hate idiots.....

Get your head out of the mother f**king toilet and into the real world where the class for the vehicle you're talking about doesn't exist!!!!! Why build a vechile that fast to race when it can't compete for contingancy money when it won't fit in any class? It'd just be an exhibition vehicle that promotes nothing.......oye.........ulcer.........

Come on guys. DOHC is not trying to down talk turbos, he's just interested in them like I was. He has well founded doubts on a turbo car because you don't see them running with top fuels. I even wonder why they don't change the nhra rules, or have a new class. Can't we all just get along.

omg what ever i did i'm sorry. I come to these sites to learn. thats what forums are for. I cant believe you people, what did i do to you. jeep i dont know what your problem is but you dont need to take it out on me. As for no reason to build a car like that, The fastest land vehicle cost alot more then a turbo car would and used old jet engines so they werent trying to sell anything. I cant remember the exact amount it cost but it was really high do to all the wind tunnel testing. In a really fast turbo car they could promote many things, such as TURBOS, suspension, tires, a motor that can handle that much boost, etc... I dont like getting into arguments but jeep you just seem determind to. It's sad I had to take all this time to write such a long reply but some people just susprise me with how cruel they can be.

I'm trying to tell you that there is no class for it, so it isn't raced, you didn't get the idea.

Your idea of the fastest vehicle being top fuel is also wrong, as you just said in your previous statement, they are rocket and jet propelled and are all owned by some rich old guy that wants his 15 minutes of fame.

Those vehicles are not built using used parts, but rather multi-million dollar chassis built for fighter jet engines. You go used in a vehicle going over 600 mph and something fails....you're f**ked.

Top Fuel is the quickest, but not the fastest. It's extremely agrevating when people try to say that superchargers are better because they use them in top fuel yet neglect to mention that's all they CAN use.

They already have really fast turbo cars. Maybe it's just me saying that single digits are f**king fast. Oh well.
