Jet hot coating is like 300 bucks, any way you are looking at a decent amount of money, but I guess they last forever once they are done, well maybe not forever but they have alot longer life ahead of them... UNless they are flowtechs

I used some of the same wrap, I have cheapo flowtec headers, so I dont care about them.

ceramic coating is the way to go,
I thought you were going to get a cowl hood stanglx2002?
that alone will decrease the underhood temps.

i agree with adding a hood. either a cowl or a forward facing scoop.

i can see heat waves coming out of mine and i water get sucked into the cowl when it is raining and water is rolling over the hood.

wrap is bad for reasons,

1.) wrecks the headers
2.) doesn't allow the motor to scavenge exhaust properly.

same principle (partially anyway) as running open headers on a stock motor.
a race car is the only car you want header wrap

you should be able to get HTS paint at your local performance shop, and sand blasting you can get done by an engine builder.
